Description
Safe n Simple places a premium on safety, service, cost containment, and product quality. With the introduction
of our 100% Collagen wound care dressing, we are proud to introduce the Simpurity wound care line. The
Simpurity wound care line will enable moist wound healing and the rapid shift to science-based outcomes and
procedures while lowering expenses.
Simpurity Collagen wound dressings are lyophilized Medical Grade bovine
collagen presenting as a clean, white, single-layered sponge. Simpurity
Collagen is highly biocompatible as a result of an exclusive purification process
process that removes the highly allergenic telo-peptides present in
competitor products. Like human connective tissue, Simpurity Collagen
wound dressing is rich in type I collagen with a unique porous structure
(picture) that provides excellent absorption and a scaffold for cell proliferation
and migration.
Simpurity Collagen provides sacrificial Collagen to divert MMP digestion from healing tissue and reduce
inflammation that may retard healing. Simpurity Collagen fragments provide ingredients for tissue regeneration,
and the 3D scaffold structure allows fibroblasts to migrate across the wound bed, facilitating granulation,
angiogenesis, and tissue repair. In acute wounds, Simpurity Collagen rapidly activates platelets and coagulating
factors to induce hemostasis.
