Simpurity Hydrocolloid wound dressings accelerate the healing process by providing an ideal
environment for the formation of granulation tissue. The dressing forms a gel upon absorbing wound
exudates, providing a moist wound environment, supporting granulation and epithelialization. The gel
formation prevents Simpurity Hydrocolloid from adhering to wounds, and the dressing can be removed
without causing pain and without damaging the granulation and epithelial tissue.
Simpurity Hydrocolloid is a gelatin-free hydrocolloid adhesive wound dressing laminated to a semi
permeable, bacteria-proof, virus-proof, virus proof and waterproof polyurethane film backing, individually packed
and sterilized by radiation. Simpurity Hydrocolloids high absorption capacity, binding away excess exudate,
prolonging dressing change intervals. The dressing is slightly transparent, enabling wound inspection.
